California Leads Nation in Green Jobs, Unemployment

California Leads Nation in Green Jobs, Unemployment

It’s really no coincidence

A new study by the Brookings Institution says that California leads the nation in ‘green jobs’.  The state has nearly 320,000 people working in jobs installing solar panels, running organic farms, making electric vehicles, etc.

Well this is really no surprise.  California has the most radical environmental laws and is all too eager to impose burdensome taxes and fees on its residents and businesses to prop up an industry that wouldn’t exist otherwise.

What the report doesn’t mention is that California also leads the nation in unemployment.  As of last month, the unemployment rate in California was 11.8%.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll ever connect the dots.
