Note to Arizona Democrats: Obama’s Just “Not That Into You”

Hey Arizona Democrats – Barack doesn’t hate you, really. Barack just “isn’t that into you,” that’s all.  In fact, our forty-fourth President of the United States, isn’t “that into” any of “us,” so much as he’s into his own power and control. Don’t waste time taking personal umbrage at his destruction of your party. Better yet, wake up and realize that your naïve, child-like allegiance to this one-time “charming” public figure has empowered a self-serving force in our country the likes of which we have never known before. Then do some reading and studying – learn a few basic things about history, and economics. Understand that the lessons of history demonstrate that concentrating increasing amounts of economic power in the hands of politicians and government bureaucrats, produces more corruption in the economy and not less of it.

I’ve been fascinated to observe how elected Democrats in Arizona have been impacted by the behavior of President Obama. Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard  was once a serious contender to become the next Governor, especially given his carefully crafted image of being a sober-minded, tough law enforcement officer. Yet while a majority of Arizonans want the southern border secured, the leader of Goddard’s party has declared that the border simply can’t be secured. Worse yet, the “leader” has sided with the Dictator of Venezuela, and the communist government of China, the United Nations, and the President of Mexico, in chastising and maligning Arizona.   And now, Americans from across the country are sending donations to Arizona’s “legal defense fund” – so as to help Arizona defend itself against the leader of Goddard’s party. Congressman Harry Mitchell was once the sweet, grandfatherly-looking man snapping photos of President Obama on the tarmac at Sky Harbor airport. Today the former high school history teacher Mitchell is caught in the crossfire, as the history of thuggish government repeats itself, and he rightly gets blamed for enabling it.

The most articulate and media savvy liberal politician in Arizona is state Representative Kyrsten Sinema.  No elected Democrat has been more sheepishly loyal to Obama’s agenda. Sinema’s  website states that “Kyrsten was committed to ensuring that any healthcare bill which passed Congress and was signed into law provided effective coverage for currently uninsured individuals in Arizona and across America, protected taxpayers, reduced costs, and ended the worst practices of the insurance industry.” But the healthcare bill that Sinema worked so tirelessly to support introduces government healthcare rationing (Obama’s new “healthcare czar” has assured us of this); it raises taxes on, of all things, wheel chair purchases (no “compassion” for the disabled in Obama’s world); it is so fabulous that Obama provided “exemptions” from the bill’s mandates to the White House and congressional staff who helped write it, and to organized members of the United Auto Workers Union; and 45 of the respective states –ninety percent  of them- are suing to prevent Obamacare’s implementation. Just because you’re a lawyer and a social worker (as Sinema is) doesn’t mean you have a clue about history and economics.

So, Arizona Democrats, don’t take it personally.  Obama got what he wanted from you, and now he has moved on.  Now you must grow up and learn the historical and economic lessons of self-serving, thuggish, big government. But after the mess that you have enabled, you are no longer worthy to lead.
