There is no defending Andrew Thomas. He took Arizona politics to new lows with his use of taxpayer resources to pursue his petty political vengeance. I'm glad he's out of office. Tom Horne, is, as you suggest, Keith, a less than honest politico willing to sell himself and his beleifs out at the first sign of wind blowing in the opposite direction. He was especially adept at this when he was head of the PVUSD.

The AG's job is not about political posturing, it's about bringing bad people to justice. Thomas and Horne can't be trusted to do this. For those looking for a better alternative, consider Felecia Rotellini, who as an assitant AG, pulled together the suit against the Baptist Foundation and brought those crooks to justice. She has experience, and more importantly, she has ethics.

"The first two comments are obviously Thomas plants, which is par for Thomas’ course. He used to keep a blogger on the payroll, after all."

I love it when people oppose someones view on a blog they immediately say the responses were plants. LOL

Horne has used independently sourced facts to highlight Thomas' abysmal record as County Attorney and Horne's critics can do little more than call him names and lie about his positions.

Tom Horne has done an excellent job in education and saved the state MILLIONS of dollars in the Flores case and kept English as the official language in the classroom. He went to bat for the state when the current AG wouldn't. Looking at Thomas' track record and the number of cases that he has lost, I don't even know if he would've been able to have represented the state like Horne did. One thing is for certain, if Thomas' would've lost the case at the Supreme Court level he probably would've taken THEM to court on some work of trumped-up charges, lost the case, and left the bill the the AZ taxpayers. This is disturbing. Tom Horne has my vote!

I suppose the race comes down to the conundrum highlighted in "Brewster's Millions" -- the list of candidates should be amended to include "None of the above."

With education in Arizona near the bottom nationally I hardly think a promotion is in order. Andrew Thomas has done a good job as County Attorney. He defends himself well against the one sided attacks from the open borders AZ Republic when he has the opportunity. It is common to see The establishment candidates and media will always go after someone who stands with the people and against the establishment RINO's and liberals who are destroying the country in front of us. The video I have seen of the debate in Scottsdale shows Mr. Thomas defend himself well from the negative comments and summary opinions.
